So you finally decided that it’s time for you to get a website for your business or to redesign your existing one. That’s excellent and exciting news and you have two options: you can absolutely do it yourself… or you could hire a web designer.
Now I have a feeling that, like most girl bosses, you probably don’t need yet another thing to add to your already long to-do list amirite? And you’d rather spend what little free time you have reading a good book or binge-watching your favorite Netflix show.

3. Check websites like Upwork or Toptal or 99designs
A word of warning though -- while you might find a cheap designer on any of these platforms keep in mind that you’ll often get what you pay for so don’t let the price be the deciding factor. Do your research and make sure they have a decent portfolio as well as positive reviews.
For example, a great place where you can find a designer is Airtasker. Airtasker is a services marketplace/freelancing platform that makes it easy to find skilled individuals who can complete whatever task they need to get done at the moment, be it home cleaning, handyman jobs, admin work, photography, graphic design or even website building.
4. Use social media to your advantage
Ask around in Facebook groups or LinkedIn groups if anyone knows or is a web designer. Chances are you will find someone or get a referral for a designer. You can also use the search feature on any social media platform and use the same search terms you’d use in Google.
